Lillooet Golf Course is committed to customer service and ensuring challenging playing conditions for all skill levels and ages. With its short straight fairways, minor doglegs, unforgiving small greens, newly added bunkers, tricky water holes and wooly hazards, Lillooet Golf Course promises a fun golfing experience for all levels of players. It is not a course for those who expect perfection and predictability.

The picturesque Lillooet Golf Course is a small but challenging 9-hole course located five miles south of Lillooet, British Columbia. It was created in 1985 by the Lillooet Community and the managers of the Jones farm. It is home to the local mixed breed sheep herd who tend to keep the course well fertilized, nicely grazed and the golfers amused. The Lillooet Golf Course saw a change in management in 2004 which promises to provide a rewarding experience for both amateur and avid golfers.

There has been a golf course on the DC Jones Farm since the 1920’s when DC ‘Joe’ Jones, an avid and talented golfer, moved from Victoria to Lillooet to take over management of the DC Jones Farm. The first course was located out along the river bench. The second was located a few acres away from the homestead. Both these were rustic 18 holes with sand greens, tin can cups and minimal maintenance. Over time as the past golf courses fell into disuse and reverted to hayfield or pasture.

With a playing length of 2722 (white)/2409 (red) yards in length one may expect this course to play easy. Its undulations, water hazards and natural obstacles (not to mention the sheep) can be deceiving. You'll find that the Lillooet Golf Course is not only challenging, but a pleasure to play as well.

The original pro shop was located in a small structure that was once used as a dairy. The Lillooet Golf Club built the present golf house using donated lumber and time. It was designed and built by Jim Wright, a dedicated golfer and friend.
